Magnum VOLUME ® also has a clinic dose of Agmatine Sulphate to enhance muscle pumps, maximize nutrient partitioning (more calories are shuttled towards muscle tissue and less are stored as fat), and increase production of luteinizing hormone and growth hormone. Its cell volumizing effect works by binding to the alpha2-adrenergic and imidazole receptors of endothelial cells increasing nitric oxide (NO) production which assists in volumizing blood vessels.
Agmatine sulfate appears to boost muscle pumps in a couple different ways. First, agmatine sulfate may improve nutrient partitioning, leading to more muscle glycogen (carbohydrates stored in muscle tissue) stored and consequently more water retained in the muscle.* This can lead to a full look to the muscle and increase muscle pumps. One of the less highlighted, but incredibly important ingredients in Volume ® is L-Norvaline.

L-Arginine can also be broken down by Arginase, which increases production of urea. However, when L-Norvaline was introduced during heightened Arginase activity, researchers at the University of New Mexico’s Vascular Physiology Group found that nitric oxide production increased with decreased urea production by 50%.* This is important because urea is a waste product and is something you want to minimize when training.
